21-07-2019 Denmark Q Princess Alexandra and Count Michael Ahlefeldt-laurvig-bille von Egeskov, with the prepared leaving Graasten Castle Church.
A messehagel is an overcoat used by the priest during the sacrament and at ecclesiastical celebrations.
The inspiration for the messehagel was from nature around the Graasten Castle and selected hymns.
The messehagel complements and constitutes, together with the antependium (altar curtain) that the Queen prepared for the castle church last year, a new set that complements Queen Ingrid's antependium and fairytale from 1943.
